About Sean
I am a specialist Geriatrician, Perioperative Care Physician, and a Medicinal Cannabis Authorised Prescriber providing private consultations for older adults and their families across Melbourne, focused on careful assessment, meaningful conversation, and practical planning.
My work centres on understanding the whole person — health, function, and cognition — and helping patients and families navigate complex decisions with clarity. Consultations are intentionally unhurried and tailored to individual needs.
I practise across public and private settings in Victoria and am actively involved in medical education.

Perioperative Review
Comprehensive perioperative care, working in close collaboration with surgeons to manage complex medical needs throughout the surgical journey at Northern Private Hospital.
Preoperative Optimisation
Specialised clinic-based reviews to medically optimise patients prior to surgery, ensuring they are in the best possible health to improve outcomes and reduce risks.
Postoperative Management
Ongoing postoperative review and management on the ward at Northern Private Hospital to support recovery and coordinate care needs.
Fees
For Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment, a referral from a GP is required for Medicare rebate.
Consultations for people living in residential aged care facilities are bulk-billed with no out-of-pocket cost to the patients.
Clinic appointments, telehealth, and home visits attract out-of-pocket fees with Medicare rebates applicable.
